MERCRUISER-TYPE
The Jabsco MerCruiser type replacement pump is a one piece bronze body and bronze end-plate unlike the aluminum, plastic and cast iron composite pump (Quicksilver model No. 46-72774-A32) supplied as original equipment. It has a replaceable cam and wearplate so it can be totally overhauled. The long-life Jabsco impeller fits both the stock MerCruiser pump and Jabsco aftermarket pump and is supplied with the gaskets needed to complete the impeller replacement.

CRANK DRIVEN-TYPE
Jabsco 23800-Series pumps will retrofit crank driven pumps on Volvo, Indmar and Marine Power marine engines and others utilizing the Chevrolet and Ford small and big block engines whether the stock pumps is a Jabsco (English made) model 22740-Series or Johnson pump type F5B-9 or F6B-9.

The Volvo pump No. 855722 on small block engines is replace ty the Jabsco 23800-0251 half cam model. The Volvo pump No. 856513 on big block engines is replace by the Jabsco 23800-0201 full cam model.

On other marinized engines that use Chevrolet and Ford engines equipped with Johnson pumps, the Jabsco model 23800-0251 half cam pump replaces the Johnson model F5B-9 and the Jabsco 23800-0201 full cam pump replaces the Johnson model F6B-9.

CRUSADER-TYPE
The Jabsco Crusader type pump is a direct replacement for the stock Crusader (Thermo Electron) pump No. 97179 (Sherwood No. E-35) sold through Crusader dealers. It fits most pre-1993 Crusader engine models, accepts the Crusader drive pulley and bolts directly to the stock mounting bracket. It has a replaceable wearplate and the seal can generally be replaced without even removing the pump shaft. The impeller will fit either the stock Crusader pump or the upgraded Jabsco model.
