| Directions
for Priming the System before Initial Use:
Once
the unit is mounted and all of the hoses are attached, insert the drain/
fill hose into a container of new oil. Open the first valve on the
manifold and switch the pump to draw oil from the container into the
open hose. (Push the switch toward the manifold) Run the pump for about
ten seconds until you hear the sound of the pump change as it loads up
with oil.
Close
this valve and open the next valve in line and switch the pump to draw
oil from the container into this next hose. Repeat the above procedure
for the rest of the lines connected to the manifold.
The
system is now primed and ready to draw oil from any line in either
direction.
Use
the labels provided to identify each valve/ hose connection.
Draining
Oil from Engine's:
Place
the drain/ fill hose in an empty container. Open the valve on the
manifold which connects to the engine to be serviced. Switch the pump to
draw oil from the engine.
(Push
the switch away from manifold)
Repeat
this process for each engine, transmission or generator to be serviced.
Filling/
Adding Oil to Engine's:
Place
the drain/ fill hose into a container of new oil. Open the valve on the
manifold which connects to the engine to be serviced. Switch the pump to
draw oil from the new oil container. (Push the switch toward the
manifold)
NOTE:
