INCREASE THE PERFORMANCE LIFE OF YOUR ENGINE
80-95% Of your Engine's
Life
Engine experts, including those at Mc Donnell
Douglas Transportation Department and the Society of Automotive Engineers
(SAE) have
demonstrated that the majority of mechanical engine wear occurs during engine startup. In
fact one study states, "Ninety to 95% of the (mechanical) wear occurs in the first 10
seconds in the start of an engine." Most engines are run, then turned off hot.
As the engine cools, the lubricating fluid drips back into the pan. The lubricant cools
and thickens and becomes tough to pump. The longer the engine sits, the colder it gets and
the more difficult starting conditions become.
The Pre-Luber Eliminates Dry Starts
Dry starts occur in very cold weather, very hot climates, following routine oil
changes, after prolonged idle time and even after an engine sits for as little as 30
seconds. You can almost hear the engine scream for mercy when started! All vehicles
experience significant wear when started dry. The wear occurs in the first few minutes,
while the fast-idling engine waits for the oil to get to the bearings and other critical
parts. Other engine parts associated with
startup are also strained-battery, belts & starter motor. Stalling most often occurs
at this stage and the whole destructive process is repeated. |
|
The abrasive metal particles that
are rubbed off accelerate engine wear. With the Pre-Luber such dry start wear is totally
eliminated. The Pre- Luber pre-lubricates and pre- pressurizes the engine
before it starts. How To Prolong Your Engine's Performance Life
Turn the ignition key to "on" (but not
"start"). Under the hood the Pre-Luber pump comes to life. At once,
friction prone surfaces throughout the engine are bathed in oil (rods, main/cam /turbo
bearings, chains and lifters all are quickly covered in slippery protection). Within a few
seconds, up to 55 pounds- per- square-inch of oil pressure has been pumped into the
engine, before it is started. When the oil warning light goes out or the oil gauge shows
suf- ficient oil pressure, turn the key to "start" for one of the smoothest,
quietest, most wear-free starts you've ever had.
Dramatically Extends Turbo Life
Post-shutdown lubrication keeps the super-hot turbo charger from cooking its lubricant
into "coke". The "coking" problem in turbo chargers is one of the main
causes of turbo failure. The Pre-Turbo luber prevents this from occurring.

Many
Models To Choose From
* The Pre-Luber: pre-lubricates and oil-pressurizes your
engine before startup, automatically.
* The Pre-Turboluber: designed especially for
turbo-charged engines, uses a solid state timer and also post lubricates the engine atter
shutdown.
* The Heavy Duty Pre-Luber: designed especially for large
heavy duty trucks and equipment.
* The Marine Pre-Luber: designed to protect
engines in the harsh marine environment. Prelubricates and post-lubri-
cates. Easy Oil
changes.
* The Heavy Duty Marine Pre-Luber: designed for the larger
diesel engines and turbo diesel engines.
Easy Oil Changes, Too
Put an end to lying under hot engines or on oil soaked floors. Put an end to oil burned
fingers, hands and arms. Put an end to hunting for dropped oil plugs in the bottom of oil
drain pans.

|
The Pre-Luber comes with an oil
drain hose which attaches to the pump outlet. Turn your ignition key on and pump out your
dirty oil. Boat owners love this feature.
Compatible With All Lubricants
Pre-Luber and Pre-Turboluber are compatible with all natural and synthetic engine oils and
additives.
Everything Is Included -Installation Is Easy
Pre-Luber and Pre-Turboluber are sold as ready-to-install kits. The kit includes pump,
electronic module, brass fittings, nine feet of hose, drain plug, grommets, screws, and
Installation Manual. Installation time averages two hours.
