Gil "DGM" Silencers offer the silence of through prop exhaust at an
idle with the performance of straight through transom while running.
- Made from 356-aluminum alloy
- Gil coated to protect from corrosion
- Mounts easily to the transom over the exhaust tips to direct the exhaust
under water when the boat is at idle speeds
- Very low backpressure for High Performance engines
- Built in flapper to prevent water ingestion
- Up to a 20-decibel reduction at an idle
- Available in a variety of standard colors to match most boats
Installation:
- Clamp On models slide over and clamp to the end of the
tailpipe or exhaust tip on the exterior of the boat transom. Exterior
flapper is optional.
- Transom Mount models replace existing exhaust tips and bolt
to the boat's transom exterior with no angular adjustment. A 4"
diameter rubber exhaust hose secured with hose clamps connects the silencer
to the tailpipe. Exterior flapper is optional.
